A wide range of leisure and tourism opportunities are available across East Lindsey, providing cultural, sporting and recreational activities for both residents and visitors all year round.
If it is relaxation you are after, needing to get fit or wanting to visit and explore the area, the East Lindsey Leisure section is packed full of ideas to suit everyone, where you will find out about what’s on and where to go in the area.
Louth Swimming Pool
The Louth Swimming Pool site, which is held in trust status by the Louth Swimming Pool charity, is being advertised for sale and under Charities Commission regulations the sale must demonstrate the best return possible.
Community groups that would like to benefit from the asset disposal are being urged to register their interest with East Lindsey District Council by Friday, February 26, 2010. The Council will need to work with the Charities Commission to vet applications for eligibility before putting the options to the public for a decision.
Those community groups wishing to register an interest should complete an application form available from the District Council or at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk and submit it to Mark Humphreys, Business Manager for Leisure Facilities, East Lindsey District Council, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 8UP by 5pm on Friday, February 26, 2010.
